PETERSON ARCHITECTS follows a team approach to design within our office.  However, to ensure that our clients enjoy a consistent, high-quality experience, Jeff Peterson is deeply involved in all aspects of the design and construction process.

 

 Jeffrey D. Peterson, FAIA, LEED AP

Firm Principal Jeff Peterson founded Peterson Architects in 2001. Jeff received his B.A. from Princeton University in 1984 and his Master of Architecture from the University of Virginia in 1988. Jeff is a LEED accredited architect with experience in all phases of project development. He has been particularly involved in the planning, design, and construction of academic and institutional buildings, including libraries, student centers, classroom buildings, athletic facilities, galleries and offices. Jeff rowed in high school, college and on the US National Team and also coached crew at Princeton and UVA. He is known as one of the world’s foremost architects of rowing facilities such as boathouses and rowing tanks. Jeff was elevated to the AIA College of Fellows in 2024.
